The PatLog® patient logistics solution
The PatLog® logistics solution is a patient handling system, fully integrated, that allows users to complete treatment preparation and image guidance processes outside the treatment room using a unique reclining technique and with smooth transport of immobilized patients between diagnostic and treatment locations.
The PatLog® logistics solution is a combination of separate components that facilitates precise and comfortable patient setup and transportation.
The Recliner is a positioning- and unloading station with a unique reclining technique which assists in the patient loading process, by allowing the patient to stand on the vertically positioned table´s foot support, after which the table is tilted back to horizontal position. It is a reliable tool for repositioning with high accuracy and comfort.
The Airplate is a patient table plate that is docked on the patient table base at each station and undocked for transport between stations.
The Carrier is a transport trolley for safe transport through mazes and narrow passages in the clinic. The Carrier has an “autopilot” system that follows paths along the floor. The Carrier can be set to follow a number of different paths to enable patient transportation (patient logistics) between different treatment and diagnostic locations.
The Docking unit provides the interface between the various table bases and the patient table plate. It is permanently mounted on each table base and has a locking mechanism for connecting the plate quickly, securely and accurately.

Patient dignity
✓ To set-up and immobilize a patient from standing to horizontal position with the Recliner allows a much easier, more comfortable and dignified method for the patient to be placed into the right position for treatment. Loading the patient with the Recliner also eliminates the strain on staff: no manual lifting or pulling is needed.
✓ Patients stepping onto the foot support of the Recliner with the upright couch top and a positioning mold behind them, and then tilting back to horizontal position into the mold, allows a much easier and more dignified method for the patient to position themselves comfortably with minimum assistance from the staff.
Controlled workflow
✓ High reproducibility of patient position through the reclining technique, resulting in consistent internal organ alignment.
✓ Patient remains on the same table plate throughout the entire process (alignment, imaging, treatment).
✓ Controlled and safe transportation of patients between set-up, imaging and treatment make flexible and accurate logistics possible.
✓ The motorized trolley and its “auto-pilot” make the transport between stations fast, easy and safe.
